Do You Have An Opinon?
One Lesson Learned In the safety profession, we do not offer opinions without supporting evidence. To be persuasive to the reader, your writing should extend beyond your beliefs, experience(s), opinion(s), and/or suggestion(s). Fact-based statements require scholarly sources to support your claims and conclusions. Being able to cite a specific standard is helpful when discussing any compliance related subject with your leadership team.
