In the safety profession, we do not offer opinions without supporting evidence. To be persuasive to the reader, your writing should extend beyond your beliefs, experience(s), opinion(s), and/or suggestion(s).
Fact-based statements require scholarly sources to support your claims and conclusions.

Being able to cite a specific standard is helpful when discussing any compliance related subject with your leadership team.
